Curiosity

After 55 posts I must admit that I've become curious as to where my readers are located and how exactly they got hooked up with An Open Doerr. If you don't mind to step out of anonymity and give me a quick run down I would greatly appreciate it.

If you've been commenting under "anonymous", thanks, but I would encourage you to sign up for a free blogger account. If that seems frightening, consider leaving your name at the end of your comment. If you are currently under the witness protection program and must remain anonymous I certainly understand.

I'm lovin' this blogging thing and the most enjoyable part is hearing your feedback.

Hi Chad, thanks for the encouragement to step out! When you first advised me of your blog, I had no clue obout "blogs". I was intimidated and did not know what to expect when I saw "sign up here". I took the leap, said to myself, "oh no, I have to answer questions". I didn't feel very safe, but since you were on this "blog thing", I surrendered. I signed up, I have a blog page, and it just sits there; BUT, I can sign in and make comments.......pretty scarey at first. Not knowing if I'm going to make a fool of myself, talk too much, yadda yadda yadda.......Then I finally "got it"...it's a blog, conversation, sharing our thoughts/faith/getting to know us....I was going to be safe, Chad is my nephew, and a MAN OF GOD.......I'M OKAY, hahaha, my inner child gets in there, and then God takes over. Oh the woes of our fears, however small, however big.......FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN....All this over a blog...and I found it healing, to just be me and write from my heart. FEAR = F - FALSE
E - EVENTS
A - APPEAR
R - REAL

FAITH AND FEAR ARE LIKE OIL AND WATER, THEY JUST DON'T MIX!!

So, another miracle of God healing my fear of being judged.......I'm okay, and I am in pre-k to blogging and writing. Thank you God! Aunt Sandi

I've been blogging for a little while but not on "blogger." I've thought about moving it over and still may. I really do enjoy your posts!

Hi Chad,

I live on the North Side of Cincinnati. Moved yesterday from West Chester to Sharonville (lastest placement from the witness protection program). Originally I am from Shreve, OH - which is a one stoplight town not far from Smithville where Josh and Julie live. (You'll have to check it out on your vacation - Definetly a spot you won't want to miss! - just watch out for those crazy Amish.) I think I was a frosh at KCU when you were a senior. I found your blog page through Steve and Kelly Carr - who are acquaintances of mine. As far as a blog page of my own...I think I'll just keep reading your's and Steve's.

Have a great 4th of July - God Bless, Sara

Cynthiana, KY. The first thing I do after turning my computer on at work is read your blog. I love it. Didn't know what one was, until I saw on AMCC website that you had one; I've been reading ever since. You are such an inspiration Chad and your love and enthusiasm for the Lord is astounding. I feel very blessed that my family and I have found AMCC.

I'm here!
I've been helping down in toddler village for several months now. I've felt my calling down there. I've been keeping up with sermons as much as possible on the regular AMCC site. I miss the adult faces a bit though!
Love ya Chad!

Hey Chad! Found your blog through kcc people who knew about it from kcc people (actually your my space). Wow, my heart breaks for you! Its amazing to read the words from your heart. Its very cool to see how true you are to our faith and that the good guy you seemed to be in College was and is the real deal! I'm sure your blog is a great source of testimony and healing for those who read it. God bless your willingness to be used through it.
