With this being a national holiday I made myself take the day off, therefore it felt like a Friday when it was really only Tuesday. I'll be confused all week.
After cutting the grass and washing the car this morning, Emrie and I ran up to my parents to spend the afternoon. Our plan was to attend a big 4th of July shin dig but the rain washed us out. It was nice to have a low key day and enjoy the family.
For those who are curious, Josh & Julie named their new son, Ethan Gregary Piatt [his middle name is a combination of their fathers' names, Greg & Gary]. Everyone is healthy and believe it or not both Julie and Ethan came home today - a little over 24 hours later!

When Bill and I lived in Pendleton, KY we went downtown Louisville to watch the 4th of July fireworks off the bridge. It was the most spectacular fireworks we have ever seen. Gosh, sorry you guys didn't get to see fireworks. Aunt Sandi
