Good Bye & Hello

Today we experienced our final "one" service Sunday. Next week we roll to a dual service format but I got to tell you, we went out with a bang. It was one of the most memoralbe and moving services I can remember. We kicked it off with a baptism [more on that in a later post], the worship set was awesome, I felt like the message hit home, and we had two people place their membership with the Antioch family. They want to be a part of a church where there are no "left out" people.

God, thank you for doing what you're doing at Antioch. Keep it up!

Chad, my heart broke for my brother, during your message. I know that is the way he sees himself; as an outsider. He almost prides himself in being different, just so that people won't get close to him. I felt that particular message so much because my brother has been on my heart so much. Seeing Lonnie baptizing his brother gave me such hope. Ironically my friend Tracey and I were just discussing some of those points before we came to church. It serves to remind me again of God's perfect timing. As soon as I walked in to the service yesterday I felt the "Wow, something special is going to happen today" feeling.

Sunday was one of those special days that God was moving and active and it was a privilege to be in attendance, just soaking it all in.
