I'm Feeling Lucky

It goes without saying that I'm extremely excited for Saturday’s opener against Georgia Tech. Notre Dame is sitting atop the majority of polls and quarterback Brady Quinn is the front runner for the Heisman. Does it get any better for an Irish fan? This team has by far the most exciting offense I've ever watched and is retuning the majority of it's starters.

I honestly believe if we can get past the big Michigan game at home and put away Michigan State on the road [they can have the worst team in division I football and they always find a way to give ND fits] I think we have a shot at being undefeated going in the final game of the season, USC.

Here’s my prediction. If our defensive is worth half a nickel and we keep the green jerseys in the laundry room, we'll be atop the BSC come January! Go Irish!

I just hope Ohio State doesn't win it all this year.

I might be risking being able to stop in at Antioch the next time I'm down that way to visit Debby and Matt but since you mentioned the Michigan and Michigan State games- I'll root for ND to beat Michigan State however as an Ann Arbor area resident and Michigan fan I feel I have no choice but to send out a 'GO BLUE!!' : )

Blah...Blah...Blah...Sounds alot like me before every UK Basketball Season. If this and if that...don't get me wrong...I root for ND too but they always let me down. OSU...doubtful cause they dont have enough bulletproof vests for their roster...thanks Maurice. Texas will be suffering from Post-Vince Young Depression. USC is Bushless. This year...its West Virginia for me.

Go Irish!!! This is the year we can celebrate together. What a great photo. It gets my heart pumping just to look at it. Can't wait to watch the Georgia Tech game with you. I really miss those days. All I can say is...you have GREAT TASTE when it comes to athletic teams. I'm sure Kelly will agree with that! I'd love to see a rematch with Ohio State this year. That preacher down the hall from me just wreaks with OSU!!! See you Saturday Chad. Love you,

Dad

I thought you grew up by now. U dont want a rematch with the BUCKEYES. I believe those teams have met up 3 times in 15 years and the BUCKS are 3-0 against ND. Ouch did I see they dropped to #5. Cant play for the national title down there. P.S. Good luck against Penn State and Michigan
