My parents were in the Louisville area tonight so Jennifer and I were blessed to have them worship with us at Southeast. Our normal routine was interrupted when for the second time in a matter of a few months, Southeast was unable to receive Christian in the nursery. I guess not enough volunteers showed up:(
We brought Christian into worship with us and he did fine (especially saying he's not even 13 months old). But towards the end of worship I glanced out of the corner of my eye and I saw him trying to imitate my every move. First he started by clapping his hands and eventually he even raised his hand in the air - unsure what he was doing - just intent on shadowing me.
I thought it was precious but more than anything it was a sobering reminder that little eyes are watching...even in worship.

What a precious imitation! Yes little eyes ALWAYS watch.
Thanks for sharing.
That is why it is so important to worship as a family. I think that there is something to that saying "That families that worships together stays together." Our children want role models ! What better models can we be than Christian role models !
So that's why my daughter throws things at the TV during UK games.
Here all this time I thought she was just developing a strong pitching arm!
