Prayer

This morning I had an early meeting at Starbucks and after finishing I thought I would swing by Southeast before heading into the office. Boy am I glad I did! They just finished up a three week series on prayer and in conjunction with the series they have set up a prayer experience where you are guided through ten experiential stations. Words cannot express how awesome this was! I so needed that prayer time with the Lord.

God has been teaching me through his word that I don't share the heart and priority for prayer that my brothers and sisters did in the first century church. As I read the New Testament I see that they met continually for prayer and that their prayers led to huge movements of the Spirit. Their passionate prayers made a difference. I admittedly fall short in this arena but I desperately want to get better.

I'm thankful for the time I spent with the Lord this morning. I feel as if God spoke directly to my Spirit on several occasions. Kudos to the team at Southeast!

Oh the POWER OF PRAYER! I love it when you share HIS miraculous ways of letting you know, HE IS STILL WITH YOU, EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.

Glad you have Southeast for YOUR spiritual needs Chad. God is GREAT!
