More Prayer

I don't have much time to post as I have two messages to write TODAY. I'm speaking to a group of men on Saturday at the Men's Lenten Breakfast.

I have to say that God has been so good to me lately, taking me on a journey that I could never fully articulate. All I can say is that I've experienced MORE of God than I ever thought possible and I know there is MORE to experience. My cup is running over and I feel like God is preparing to do something at GCC that is monumental. And I'm stinkin' excited about it!

With that in mind, I need your prayers and wanted to pass along a must read blog by Perry Noble. It's entitled When To Pray For Your Pastor. Regardless of where you go to church, read this post. Your pastor needs your prayers.

First off I just want to say thank you for opening up and sharing your heart. Thanks for sharing that wonderful post as well.

As I consider how much you and your family has brought to our church in just this short amount of time be encouraged and know that I will be praying more fervently now for you and the family than before. I do understand just a small portion of what it must be like to go through the things that you voluntarily go through and I can't say enough how much we ALL appreciate it.

I will keep you all in my prayers as God guides and leads you on this incredible journey our church is about to embark upon. I feel like something incredible is going to happen as well and I just want you to know that we are always here for you!

In our prayers always,
Joe and Erica

It is always an honor to hold you, our pastor, & your family in our prayers. I cant imagine the spiritual warfare you have to endure as you speak the Word of God. God is getting ready to do mighty things - I can feel it!

Continue to be strong in Him!!
