I'll See It When I Believe It
Last night, my daughter, Kayla, wanted to use the familiar phrase, "I'll believe it when I see it," but it accidently came out, "I'll see it when I believe it." As I laughed at her apparent slip up, it hit me the incredible truth of what she had just said. We are called to walk by faith, not sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). To wait to believe only when I can see it and touch it, is not faith at all. I will believe based on a Word from God (Romans 10:17)! As a result, I will see it manifest in my life. Thanks Kayla for setting straight our theology, even if it was accidental:)
