Gotcha Day

Four years ago today, we brought Emrie home to the Doerr house. How could we have known then all that would transpire. Through the good and the bad, it's been a great ride. Thank you God!

What a glorious day that was! I remember talking to you all as the day crept up and the excitement over it all. I still have one of the first pictures you shared with everyone stored on my computer. You are doing a good job with sweet Emrie, Chad. I so enjoy her on Sunday mornings and she LOVES to perform!

What an awesome day to celebrate! Congratulations!
She's such a precious child of God and you're such a wonderful father and role model in her life.

Big Hugs to you both :)

Happy Gotcha Day Chad and Emrie. I was blessed to be with you and Amy as you received Emrie into your most loving and waiting arms. It was a moment that will be etched into my mind forever. What a day! What a blessing Emrie has been to our whole family.

I Love you both,

Dad & Papaw Doerr

Hope you and your daughter had a great day. I read your blog about once a week. Happened upon it while looking for inspiration. I grew up in the Falmouth area but moved away years ago. I find your blog and your online sermons tremendously uplifting. Your comments and stories make me want to be a better person. They take me back to the faith in God I had lost since childhood. I think you are a fine person and a great inspiration. Thank you again for your sermons online and your blog.

Happy gotcha day. She couldn't ask for better parents and wonderful role models of Christian faith. Just one of your acquaintences from New Life, KY.
