I had the day off [or at least most of the day] so Emrie and I made a trip to the Newport Aquarium. It was a blast! I love fish so I found myself soaking it up. My favorite part had to be the mural of the 23 foot Great White shark that was caught back in 1987. When they opened her stomach they found a 6 foot blue shark, an 8 foot dolphin, and a sea turtle. The thing was massive!
Emrie enjoyed it though she would not pet the sharks. When asked what her favorite part was she responded by telling me it was the time she spent in the play ground area. You mean I could have saved $25 and took her to the park! Oh well...fun was had by all.
It's now time to get ready for tonight's wedding.

Those days I get to share things with my kids are some of the very best days in my life.
Playing golf with Kristen or Jonah and it just being the two of us is a blessing. We can talk in a peaceful setting and I get to just enjoy them.
That is until a duff a fairway shot. GGGGGRRRRR
That's funny that Emrie like the playground better than the "main event." It's kind of like when you get your toddler something really nice for Christmas or their birthday, and they have more fun w/ the box.
