Tuesday school was a breeze. I'm so glad she's more than comfortable interacting with other kids and experiencing new environments. She hit the door running and didn't look back until class was over.
Dance was even better. She was dressed the part and was often mesmerized by the mirrors. They taught her much more tonight then I thought they would on opening night. She was difficult to remove from the studio as she wanted to keep practicing her new dance moves [in front of the mirrors of course]. She now has a pair of real tap shoes. Up to this point she has used a pair of old wedding shoes as her "clipity clops" [as she calls them] and has danced on the wood floors at home. I can't wait for the first recital.
Dressed for school.
Don't ask me what she's doing, I just know she looks cute doing it.
"You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy."

I would personally make a generous donation to the Antioch Mills Christian Church if a picture of Chad in a pink tutu would be posted on "An Open Doerr."
She looks simply adorable doing it! hehe
I hope you'll let us all know when her first recital is. I'll have to ask her to show me some moves at church next week!
I LOVE the fact that as a father, you allow Emrie to take dance.
I can't wait to hear about her performing on stage at Antioch.... would that be considered interpretive dance??
Did you notice her form? She has the best form in the pic. in her little pink tutu. I got goose bumps when I read your vs. Psalm 30:11
Can't wait to see more pics. Thanks for sharing
Way to go Emrie!
And Evan has the best comments!
I HAVE TO GO ALONG WITH EVAN WOULD BE WORTH SEEING....(MAYBE)
SHE IS SO CUTE!
Evan and Violet, which would be worth the biggest donation? Chad in a pink tutu or Lonnie in a pink tutu?
Keith, the thought of either one of them in a PINK TUTU is SCARY!
You'd have to pay me to see Lonnie Love in a tutu. My stomach churns just thinking about that.
