32

Amy would have been 32 years old today. We miss her dearly. I have to say that I thought a lot about Ame yesterday. Knowing it was my last Sunday at Antioch I had so many memories that came flooding back to my memory. From her Sundays at the piano, leading worship to our very wedding ceremony which took place in that very sanctuary. I have so many great memories and so much to be thankful for.

Yesterday we sang "We Will Dance" during worship and it talked about Heaven. I envisioned Amy and so many of those saints who have gone on before us, singing and dancing before the Lord. That put a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. I long to join them.

Thanks again Ame for a fabulous journey. I enjoyed every minute...even the rough ones.

What a day this is for you I'm sure.
I can't even imagine all the memories and thoughts that go through your mind on a day such as this. Keep those memories alive as long as you live!!!

What a blessed surprise to flip to my anopendoerr bookmark and see Amy's picture! I couldn't help but cry. I know that I didn't get to visit with you all very often, but I always enjoyed my time with Amy. I do miss her very much. If you don't mind, I would like to share my most favorite memory of Amy.
We were all at the celebration of Jackson and Mia, and Amy and I were sitting right next to each other. Amy was holding Katie-Rae and I will never forget her beautiful voice singing Blessed be the name of the Lord. I just listened to her sing those words knowing that she was going through such a hard time. I love how much she loves the Lord! She lifted my spirit then, and continues to do so every time I think of her.
Thanks for the post!

Amy had a heart of gold! She was always so much more concerned about others! She was so loving, gentle and kind! I have never met anyone like her! She was a reflection of the Proverbs 31 women! What A beautiful person! I can only imagine yours and emrie's loss, but my heart also deeply aches for Gary and Ann as they were such a vital part in amy's life and raising emrie, my heart goes out to them as you and emrie are starting aknew! God bless the barnard/doerr family during this time!
