Worry

I heard the statistic yesterday that 98% of what we worry about never comes to pass. That means that out of 100 minutes of worrisome thought we waste 98 of them!  What a poor stewardship of our thought life. What if instead of letting our mind be bogged down with these worrisome thoughts, we instead gave them to the Lord in prayer and began to focus on His promises, began to focus on the blessings, began to work through solutions. Paul said in Philippians 4, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

Let us grab hold of our thought life and make it obedient to Christ. What are you worrying about today that you need to give to Him in prayer?
