Em and I got free tickets to the ARCA race at Kentucky Speedway, so we took my father and headed to the racetrack. It was a blast. The race was short, littered with cautions, and came down to the wire.
I found it ironic that just a few days ago I was concerned about Emrie's ears from a moral and spiritual standpoint. Tonight I was extremely concerned for her ears from a physical standpoint. If you've never been to a stockcar race - it's a sound so loud that you can feel it. The cars hadn't even made their second lap before we purchased a $2 pair of earplugs for both my dad and Em.
Kentucky Speedway is a great place to watch a race. I hope they get a Nextel race in the not too distant future.

Glad you had a good time! My question is: WHY DIDN'T YOU BUY YOURSELF A PAIR OF EARPLUGS?
Did Emrie like the race? Aunt Sandi
What a great pic. Thanks
