Snooze

Let me be the first to say that the snooze button is from the depths of hell. I'm certain it's in the bible somewhere...maybe Leviticus or something like that.

Okay...I admit. I'm a little frustrated at myself. I had my alarm set for 6am and the next thing I know it is 7:20am and I've hit the snooze eight times. How sick is that!

Here's my thing - I'm pro snooze but in a perfect world I would like to hit the silly thing one time and then when the obnoxious alarm goes off for the second time, I'm out of bed with a smile on my face. The only problem...I struggle to come to my senses that early in the morning.

My thought is, if I'm going to get up at 7:20am then why not set my alarm for 7:10am and get another 70 minutes of uninterrupted sleep?

I'll try that tomorrow.

I SEE YOU TAKE AFTER YOUR AUNT ANGIE. IT DRIVES YOUR UNCLE NUTS! HE IS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE BLESSED WITH THE ABILITY TO POP OUT OF BED AS SOON AS THE ALARM GOES OFF. I TOLD HIM IT'S A SIGN OF OLD AGE. WAIT UNTIL EMRIE GETS AN ALARM. SAMANTHA AND I NOW HAVE DUALING SNOOZE BUTTONS. IT MAKES FOR A JOYFUL MORNING. HUGS AND KISSES TO ALL!

I have always fallen victim to the snooze. I set it 10 minutes early to just snooze once. But there are those mornings when I hit it about three times before even realizing what I've done! Why can't I just get out of bed without snoozing at all? Alas, I cannot!

Thanks for the Saturday birthday wishes!!

The cure for (snoozebuttonitis)...Put your alarm clock across the room, when the alarm goes off, your feet will hit the floor by the time you get to the clock, you will be awake..If that doesnt work (take two aspirn and call me in the morning)!

I so used to make fun of Kelly and his snooze button. He used to drive me crazy. I would be trying to sleep and his alarm would be going off for an hour! Now it is me. He has sucked me in to his snoozeitis. Only I am worse. I snoozed the other day for 1 1/2 hours. I drive myself crazy. I have also heard that you should put your alarm in another room so that you have to get up to get it. It is a hard habit to break!Keep tryin!

I absolutely HATE alarm clocks!!
If the kids accidentally set ours and it goes off during the day, I cringe! I hate hearing it in the morning as my wake up call.
Most morning, I allow my children to be my alarm clock!
