Things went great today at Greenville. I feel like God ordained my visit. I had the chance to speak to a church family that was in the midst of grief, having just lost a church member to cancer on Thursday. Knowing their pain I feel like God used me to minister to them. God is so good!

Funny how He uses our painful experiences to heal others. Especially since when we are going through those painful times it's hard to imagine surviving, let alone being used to heal another.

Here is what I have to say about your sermon today...WOW! You answered a lot of questions that we as Christians ask ourselves and are continually asked by others. "Why did 9-11 happen?" "If God provides everything we need, why are there starving children in Africa?" As a youth coach here in Greenville, your message was much needed and well received!!! There is no doubt in my mind that the position is yours, and I could not be more happy! After about 5 minutes, I looked at the congregation, and they were captivated! You had everyone there in awe with your energy and passion for the entire sermon, me included. I can't wait to work with you, Chad!
You ministered lovingly to us yesterday, Chad. Your concern for our needs in a time of loss -- within your very first sermon at GCC -- blessed us. Many later commented on the "power" and "wisdom" of the sermon. Welcome to Greenville! Tony

I just miss you to pieces but I'm so glad you have found another church home! GCC....you have really been blessed to have Chad as your senior minister. Through the help of our Lord he brings the scriptures to life.
